By Rosemary Kamanga
Government says it will deploy Police Officers at the High Court premises to ensure that Law and Order is maintained to the highest standards.
This is in view of judgment which is due to be passed in the eligibility case involving Former President EDGAR LUNGU this week.
Home Affairs Minister, JACK MWIIMBU says the government is aware of some individuals and groupings that are bent to create anarchy in the country.
Mr MWIIMBU says the Government has put measures to maximise public security in view of the case at Court.
He says some public roads will be temporarily closed to deter some individuals, particularly political cadres who may wish to disturb public order.
And Mr MWIIMBU has warned people that are fond of being paraded during high profile court proceedings to ensure they DO NOT show up at the Courts.
Speaking during a Press Briefing, Mr MWIIMBU said that lawlessness and behaviour that might threaten public order and peace will NOT be entertained around the court premises and other Public places.
He added that the Cyber Security and Cyber crimes Act of 2021 will be applied to the fullest to ensure that those who abuse the cyberspace are brought to book.
