Power narrows gap with table leaders ZESCO United

Power Dynamos has beaten NAPSA Stars by 3 goals to one to narrow ZESCO United’s lead at the summit to one point.
This is after ZESCO United played to a goalless draw with FC MUZA in week 13 of the MTN Super league midweek fixtures.
Power’s victory has taken their point tally to 25 points, one shy of ZESCO who recorded their fourth draw in five league games played.
In other fixtures played Zambia Army Sponsored side Green Buffaloes succumbed to a 2- 1 defeat at the hands of Nkwazi in a military derby.
ZANACO Football Club beat Nkana one nil to bring an end to their eleven game drought as they had not picked up maximum points.
ARAINA LAMBERT found the back of the net in the 55th minute as the relegation domiciled team took their point tally to 13 points in 13 games having drawn seven times this season.
Elsewhere Kabwe Warriors claimed a hard-fought 1-0 win over Mutondo Stars, courtesy of FRANCIS BANDA’S 79th-minute strike
While Indeni and Nchanga Rangers played to a barren draw with Defending Champions Red Arrows coming from a goal down to hold Mufulira Wanderers to a one all draw at the Nkoloma Stadium.
Two fixtures will be played tomorrow as Forest Rangers face Green Eagles while Lumwana Radiants entertain Athletico Lusaka.
