“PPP-Model of Infrastructure Development is Meant to Open up Zambia”

Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development Minister CHARLES MILUPI says the Private Public Partnership- PPP-model of infrastructure development is meant to open up Zambia for trade opportunities.

Mr. MILUPI, who is in the United States of America, is representing Zambia at the 2025 Transforming Transport Conference in Washington, D.C., USA.

The Conference which is hosted by the World Bank and the World Resources Institute at the Ross Centre for Sustainable Cities has convened global leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to discuss equitable, sustainable, and resilient transport infrastructure systems.

Mr. MILUPI said the desire of the Government is to grow the investment portfolio for the benefit of Zambians.

Meanwhile, Mr MILUPI said diplomats must be able to attract investment, as Government is doing its part in improving the infrastructure for investment.
