President HICHILEMA assures of more development

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has assured Zambians of more development activities next year.

Speaking when he paid a courtesy call on Chief CHOONGO, in Bweengwa ahead of the Samu Lya Moomba traditional ceremony, President HICHILEMA said his government is on a mission to develop every part of the country, without discrimination.

And President HICHILEMA said he is elated to hear confirmations from traditional leaders on how the Constituency Development Fund –CDF- and other government programmes such as social cash transfer are positively impacting the communities.

Speaking earlier, Chief CHOONGO expressed happiness on the implementation of government empowerment programmes such as the social cash transfer and cash for work.

Chief CHOONGO also praised the new dawn government for working on the Monze-Niko road which had been in a deplorable state for many years.

Later, President HICHILEMA met with visiting traditional leaders that he asked to take a lead in food production.

House of Chiefs Chairperson, CHIEF NKAMBO affirmed the support of chiefs, to the government, in addressing the challenges the country is facing.

President HICHILEMA is in Monze district to attend the Samu Lya Moomba Traditional Ceremony.
