President HICHILEMA calls for deepened Zambia, Egypt ties
(ZANIS) President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has called for further deepening of the existing cooperation between Zambia and Egypt.
President HICHILEMA observes that Zambia and Egypt have continued to enjoy warm bilateral relations in various sectors.
He cites agriculture, health and technology as areas that Zambia wants to deepen cooperation with Egypt.
President HICHILEMA said this when outgoing Egyptian Ambassador to Zambia MOATAZ ANWAR paid a courtesy to him.
He said Zambia wants to learn from Egypt on how that country has managed its water resources to drive the industrialization and agriculture sector.
ZANIS reports that President HICHILEMA said it was admirable how Egypt has efficiently utilised its water resource.
The President said Zambia has a lot to learn from Egypt in the area of water management, especially water harvesting.
And the Egyptian Ambassador praised President HICHILEMA for the many strides the government has made since he assumed office.
