President HICHILEMA is in Angola

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is in Lobito, Angola to attend the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment Lobito Corridor Summit.

Angola has convened the summit on the margins of the State Visit by United States of America President JOE BIDEN.

According to the official programme, President HICHILEMA will have a one on one meeting with President BIDEN before addressing the Lobito Summit later this afternoon.

Furthermore, President HICHILEMA and his counterparts will tour the Carrinho Group, a food processing plant in Lobito.

The Lobito Summit is scheduled for today, which is expected to be attended by the Democratic Republic of Congo and the United Republic of Tanzania.

The United States of America will celebrate and highlight progress on the development of the Lobito Trans-Africa Corridor and the partnership of the Lobito Corridor Consortium.

The President is expected to return home immediately after engagements.
