Public diesel generators to continue operating

ZESCO says the power diesel energy solutions in trading markets will continue to operate even after power crisis is over.

ZESCO Public Relations Manager MUNTANGA SIBALWA says the generators will continue to operate for 8 hours when the electrical power system is under strain during peak hours of business.

Ms. SIBALWA told ZNBC News that the backup power sources of generators are meant to ensure resilience and stability of business infrastructure .

Meanwhile, Masauka Cooperative Market Chairperson RABSON DAKA said the move to set generators in markets has eased the cost of doing business.
