Public service employees told to serve the country with honor and integrity

Ministry of Information and Media Permanent Secretary, THABO KAWANA has urged public service employees to serve the country with honor and integrity.

Speaking when he officiated at a send off ceremony for seven former employees in the Ministry who retired from public service in 2023 and 2024, Mr. KAWANA said the retirees dedicated themselves to serve the country with excellence.

He praised them for their record of diligence, dedication and hard work.

Mr. KAWANA further urged employees in the Ministry to emulate the retirees, saying that their contributions were invaluable.

Notable among the retirees is Former Senior Media Development Officer BETINIKO KAYAYA who worked in the Ministry for over 30 years.

The retirees were handed certificates and plaques to celebrate their outstanding work during their tenure as civil servants.
