Raped and Murdered Woman identified as Dianess Nachula

The woman suspected to have been raped and later murdered in Lusaka’s Garden House area has been identified as 24 year old DAINESS NACHULA.
Police Spokesperson RAE HAMOONGA confirmed that the victim was identified by her brother, a Zambia Army Warrant Officer RICHARD SIAME, who resides in the same area.
Mr HAMOONGA explains that additional information indicates that Ms. NACHULA was last seen alive drinking at Asmara Night Club in Garden House, located near the scene where her body was later found.
In a statement availed to ZNBC News in Lusaka, Mr. HAMOONGA said statements from witness have since been recorded.
He says investigations into the matter are ongoing, and no arrests have been made in connection to the case.
Ms. NACHULA’s body was discovered by residents on Sunday April 13 , 2025 in a bushy area.
She was found half-naked with visible bruises on her neck, suggesting a violent assault.
