Rongxing Investment donates food to farmers that were exposed to pollution

Rongxing Investment has given out food items to over two hundred farmers in Kalulushi district that were affected in the Luela stream pollution on the Copperbelt.

Rongxing Investment Representative, WENJUAN XIAO says that the company is committed to supporting farmers that were negatively affected by the pollution.

Speaking during the donation of food items to farmers in Kalulushi, Ms WENJUAN said that the company is ready to compensate the affected farmers as soon as the compensation report is completed by the Zambian government.

Earlier, Kalulushi District Commissioner, KELLY JIBINGA disclosed that government has completed the compensation process and soon Rongxing will start compensating the farmers.

And, Kalulushi Deputy Mayor AUSTIN BANDA praised the mine for the help being given to the Luela community post the acid pollution.
