SG approves JJ Banda’s extradition

Solicitor General MARSHALL MUCHENDE has approved the request for the extradition of Petauke Central Member of Parliament EMMANUEL BANDA from Zimbabwe.
Mr. MUCHENDE approved the request yesterday and the process to formally submit the request to the Interpol Office in Harare is currently underway.
And Inspector General of Police GRAPHEL MUSAMBA says the police is committed to ensuring that justice in the matter is served.
Mr. MUSAMBA says the Zambia Police Service is working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Interpol to ensure that the extradition of the Petauke Central lawmaker is completed.
He has revealed that Mr. BANDA has claimed that he is being targeted for his links to former President EDGAR LUNGU when interviewed by Interpol.
