Sports administrators get training

The National Olympic Committee of Zambia -NOCZ- says there is a need for capacity building among Sport administrators for them to manage key areas within administration.

NOCZ -Secretary General BONIFACE KAMBIKAMBI says among the key areas in administration that need proper management is the Athlete welfare.

KAMBIKAMBI says there is a need to manage the mental health aspect as it affects the performance of athletes and officials prior and after Major competitions.

KAMBIKAMBI was speaking during the 2024 General Secretary workshop held in Lusaka .

He said the workshop is aimed at empowering General Secretaries who are key Sport administrators with skills on Governance

Over 24 General Secretaries from the 30 federations affiliated to NOCZ are currently attending the workshop.
