Speaking when he called on the ZNBC Board and Management, Mr. XINXING said Zambia has got good sunlight and enough water sources which should be an advantage in having uninterrupted power supply.
Meanwhile, ZNBC Board Chairperson, JOSEPH KAZHILA said the project will benefit residents in the localities where TopStar and ZNBC have transmitters as they will be able to tap electricity, while other local television stations will also benefit.
Bishop KAZHILA said once completed, the project will also benefit ZESCO limited to tap excess electricity into the national grid through net metering.
