Student Unions disown Student National League

Students Unions have denied participation in the Patriotic Front -PF- Student National League.
The clarifications come after the Student unions were linked to a political event without their consent or participation.
University of Zambia Students’ Union -UNZASU- Publicity Secretary GIFT NGOSA says the union’s mission remains to serve students without aligning itself with any political organisation or agenda.
Meanwhile, Levy Mwanawasa Medical University Students Union Publicity Secretary PATRICK MULENGA said the union maintains a neutral stance and has no affiliation with any political entity or organisation.
And the National Institute of Public Administration Students Union -NIPASU- has also distanced itself from political activities and parties.
NIPASU Information Publicity Secretary, DOROTHY MATYOLA said the organisation was incorrectly linked to the recent PF Student National League without their consent or involvement.
Meanwhile, the National Resources Development College Students Union -NARDESU has reaffirmed its commitment to remaining non-partisan and unaffiliated with any political party or organization, including the Patriotic Front -PF
This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC by a NARDESU Information and Publicity Secretary GWENYA LILLIAN.
And the Evelyn Hone College Students Union -EHCOSU- said it is not affiliated with the event or any political activities or parties.
EHCOSU President MUBIANA SICWANI said that any mention of the students’ union in connection with the event was unauthorized and incorrect.
