Suspected Cattle Rustler burnt to death in his house

(ZANIS) A man has been burnt to death in his house, in Mazabuka, Southern province, by unknown people, in an instant justice incident.

This was after the deceased was accused of being a cattle rustler.

Police Spokesperson, RAE HAMOONGA has confirmed the incident, which happened on Sunday, July 21, 2024 in Chief MWANACHINGWALA’s area.

Mr HAMOONGA says investigations into the matter are on-going, adding that two suspects are on the run.

Meanwhile, Chief MWANACHINGWALA’s Representative, GRISTERN CHOOMBA has urged people of the area to allow the police to do their work.
