
Tayali donates K20,000 to Miss Universe Zambia

Transport and Logistics Minister, Frank Tayali says beauty pageants are playing a role in empowering youth and promoting Zambia on the global stage.
Mr. Tayali said this when Miss Universe Zambia National Director, Alice Musukwa, and her team paid a courtesy call on him at his office.
The event is scheduled for April 20, this year at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka.
Mr. Tayali emphasized that such initiatives help keep young women engaged in positive activities and serve as a platform to showcase Zambia’s potential internationally.
He donated 20,000 Kwacha to sponsor two tables for the upcoming Miss Universe Zambia event.
Ms. Musukwa, revealed that a total of 15,000 US dollars is required to successfully host this year’s pageant, noting that all license fees have already been settled.
She added that 21 contestants are expected to take part in the prestigious competition.
