Tour Operators to Keep Low Season Rates During Easter

Some tour operators in Livingstone have indicated that they will be maintaining the low season rates during this year’s Easter holiday.

The assurance is from the Zambian Association of Indigenous Tour Operators Secretary General, Kelvin Mwelwa.

Mr Mwelwa says the move is aimed at ensuring the tourism industry recovers from the losses incurred during last year’s drought period.

And Livingstone Tourism Association Chairperson, Shaun Wheeler says a number of combined packages have been introduced for local tourists to promote domestic tourism.
