Union files 17 cases with FAZ Committee
By Chansa Kunda
The Footballers and Allied Workers Union of Zambia -FAWUZ- says it has presented 17 breaches of contract cases before the Football Association of Zambia Player Status Committee.
FAWUZ General Secretary JOE KAUNDA says while the 17 cases are being handled, five have been disposed of.
KAUNDA told ZNBC Sports News that although cases have been pending for a long time, the Union is happy with the pace at which the player status committee is now handling matters.
He said timely delivery of judgement is cardinal as it will help both footballers and coaches whose contracts are breached to get their money in good time.
