UPND adopts MUSONDA for Kawambwa parley by-election

The ruling UPND has adopted NASON MUSONDA as its candidate for the forthcoming Kawambwa parliamentary by-election slated for December 20, 2024.

UPND Chairperson for elections GARY NKOMBO says the ruling party arrived at the name of Mr. MUSONDA after a tight contest.

Mr. NKOMBO, who is also Local Government Minister, says the party had a difficult task to choose a candidate as the victor was given stiff competition by WIZA SINDAZA.

He has urged all UPND members from the rank and file to rally behind Mr. MUSONDA during the campaigns.

And UPND Secretary General BATUKE IMEMDA said the selection of Parliamentary candidates in the ruling party is done in a democratic way.
