Last Friday , Vedanta announced that it has arranged 250-million United States Dollars to pay Konkola Copper Mines small creditors by July 8,2024.
This follows the High Court decision rendered on June 28, 2024.

Mr IMENDA has assured ZAMBIANS that the future is well secured due to the sound economic policies being implemented across the country through various empowerment programmes.
He highlighted that the increased Constituency Development Fund and expanded Fertiliser Support Programme -FISP – are but just two of the many programmes lifting people out of poverty amidst many national and global challenges.
