By Rosemary Kamanga
Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO has launched her autobiography.
The “True to me” memoir tells the story of the Vice President’s life of loss, resilience, faith and service to the country.
Mrs. NALUMANGO notes that during her childhood, she realized she could do anything a man can do.
The Vice President made the remarks during the launch of her book, “True to Me”, in Lusaka today.
And Book Angels Coordinator TUKIYA MABULA stated that the book tells a story of sisterhood, encouraging women to pursue their goals.
Dr. MABULA added that the book demonstrates that when women support each other, they can achieve great things.
She added that despite one’s background, with determination, they can achieve their goals.
And former Minister of Agriculture CHANCE KABAGHE urged aspiring leaders to read the book, as it reveals the struggles Mrs. NALUMANGO faced, which few people could survive.
Mr. KABAGHE believes the book should be on every shelf across the country, helping people understand the realities outside of Lusaka.
In attendance was former Vice President INONGE WINA, current Speaker of the National Assembly NELLY MUTTI and former acting Chief Justice LOMBE CHIBESAKUNDA among other distinguished guests.
