By Moombe Hamoobola
The water level at the Victoria Falls has continued to steadily increase with the anticipation of reaching its full peak by end of March to Mid-April.
Last year, the water level reduced to all- time low following the dry spell experienced in the 2023 – 2024 rainy season.
National Heritage Conservation Commission -NHCC- Acting Regional Director RICHARD MBEWE has told ZNBC news in an interview that the water has reached the level that is expected this time of the year.
Mr. MBEWE said most of the rocks at the Victoria Falls and Dry Manzi are being covered by water, an indication that the Falls is getting full.
He is encouraging tourists both international and local to take time to visit the Falls which is one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
Meanwhile VEERLE HOVENKAMP, a tourist from the Netherlands said she looked forward to seeing the Victoria Falls because her parents visited the site several years ago.
She said her parents talked about the beauty of the Victoria Falls and she wanted to experience it.
