By CAREN MWAKA —
The Zambezi River Authority (ZRA) says water levels in Lake Kariba are steadily increasing due to sustained rainfall on the reservoir and immediate catchment.

This represents a 12.32 percent increase from 11.34 percent in the said period.
The Authority says usable live water for power generation now stands at 2.61 percent.
Lake Kariba is designed to operate between levels of 475.50 meters and 488.50 meters.
