‘WHY ME’ Sentenced
By Angela Limwanya
FRANCIS KAPWEPWE commonly known as WHY ME has been sentenced to twelve months imprisonment with hard labour on both counts, from the date of his arrest.
This is in a case where, KAPWEPWE was accused of expressing hatred for persons because of tribe and for hate speech.
In passing judgment, Livingstone Magistrate, THABITA MULENGA-MULEYA said the convict will serve the two sentences concurrently.
And his legal representative, ANTHONY BWALYA of KBF and partners has told journalists in an interview that his team is happy with the judgement.
Mr. BWALYA said the legal representation is happy to have been of service devoid of political influence.
