Woman Tells Court How Her Husband Impregnanted their Daughter

A woman has narrated in the Lusaka Magistrate Court how she learnt of her husband impregnanting their 14-year-old daughter.
The girl’s mother has testified before Lusaka Magistrate, Kawama Mwanfuli that she and her neighbours noticed that her daughter was unwell, prompting her to seek medical attention.
The witness said she was also informed that the victim conceived in August 2024, and was 23 weeks pregnant at the time.
She has told court that she was out in the village when the incident allegedly happened.
This is in a matter, where the woman’s husband, a 41-year-old ZAF- Flight Sergeant, is charged with one count of incest after he allegedly impregnated his daughter.
Allegations are that the ZAF officer, on dates unknown but between August 1, 2024 and August, 31 2024, had unlawful carnal knowledge of his daughter.
