Women challenged to work together

Justice Minister, PRINCESS KASUNE has called on women to work together and participate in leadership roles.
Ms KASUNE says it is time for women to stand beyond political lines and support each other in order for them to ascend to leadership positions.
She was speaking during the Women Connect, Unite and Lead Conference discussion panel in Lusaka today.
The Conference was hosted by the Africa Women Leaders Network- AWLN Zambia Chapter and Gender Division under the office of the president.
Meanwhile, Lundazi Member of Parliament BRENDA NYIRENDA highlighted the challenges she faced in taking up leadership positions which includes cultural barriers and finance.
And, Kasama Central Member of Parliament SIBONGILE MWAMBA called for affirmative action in addressing the gender gap in politics.
