Young Golfers’ Tournament Set for Jan 19

The Lusaka Golf Club is set to host the highly anticipated Lusaka Juniors Golf Competition on January 19, 2025.

The tournament, branded as Order of Merit 1, marks the official start of the 2025 junior golfing calendar.

The tournament is aimed at nurturing young talent and providing a platform for junior golfers to showcase their skills in a competitive environment.

Speaking to ZNBC Sports, Lusaka Golf Club Tournament Secretary RICHARD PHIRI said the event is expected to attract between 80 and 100 participants.

PHIRI said the competition is open to children up to 19 years, and has since urged parents to register their children for the event.
