” Zambia has enough ARVs”

The Ministry of Health has dispelled assertions that the country has failed to secure Antiretroviral Therapy -ART- in the last three months.
Ministry of Health Director Infectious Diseases, LLOYD MULENGA says the assertions are false and alarming.
Professor MULENGA says the country is commodity secure as both ART drugs taken by over two million Zambians have a 6 months stock level cover.
Professor MULEMGA however says the country cannot over stock ARVS to prevent the medicines from expiring.
In an interview with ZNBC News, Professor MULENGA said the recent occurrence of limited taffard, a few months ago was resolved and was due to a challenge on suppliers side.
