Zambia is leveraging public-private partnerships for infrastructure
Transport and Logistics Minister FRANK TAYALI says Zambia is leveraging public-private partnerships to develop the much needed connectivity infrastructure.
Mr. TAYALI said this when he delivered Zambia’s National Statement at the Annual Ministerial Meetings of Least Developed Countries -LDCs- and Landlocked Developing Countries.
This was on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Mr. TAYALI has also called on the UN Office of the High Representative for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries, and Small Island Developing States to continue collaborating with other entities in the UN system.
Mr. TAYALI says Zambia, like other countries, is concerned with the uncertain global socio-economic outlook and geopolitical tension that has increased pressure on food security, energy, finance and supply chains.
