The Zambia under 17 Women’s football team has qualified to the 2025 World Cup.

This follows a 4-1 win over Benin and 6-2 aggregate score to earn back to back historical qualifications.

Captain of the side MERCY CHIPASULA bagged a brace while VICTORIA MBALI and RUTH MUKOMA found the back of the net in the 80th and 82nd minutes to round up the teams score.

For Benin who played their fixture in lome Togo a consolation goal was scored by ISMATH KOUTA in the 14th minute.

The 2025 FIFAU17 Women’s World Cup will run from the 17th of October to the 8th of November in Morocco.
