Zambia’s Copper Queens Play Malawi at 15:00

The Copper Queens will this afternoon face Malawi in an international friendly game.

The game to be played at the Woodlands stadium in Lusaka will kick off at 15:00 hours.

The fixture is crucial for either side as Coach NORA HAUTPLE will have her first game, in charge of the team.

All eyes will be on the new Copper Queens technical bench to see how they will perform since their appointments.

Speaking prior to this afternoon’s game HAUTPLE said the aim is to expose players to competitive football as they prepare for this year’s Women’s Africa Cup of Nations -WAFCON tournament.

This afternoon’s game brings to the fore an interesting contest as Zambia’s BARBARA BANDA and RACHAEL KUNDANANJI will face off with the famous CHAWINGA sisters TABITHA and TEMWA.
