ZNBC Radio 1,TV1 outshine the rest -IPSOS

ZNBC Radio ONE has been named as the most listened to station in the country.

An independent international research firm IPSOS has also named ZNBC TV 1 as the most watched television channel in the country and most dominant throughout Zambia’s 10  provinces.

This is according to IPSOS  a firm specialized in conducting audience measurement research on media brands, such as Radio, Television stations and Newspapers.

ZNBC Head of Corporate Affairs, YVETTE CHANDA says the report indicates that Radio ONE is the most listened to in Lusaka while Radio TWO is second at national level.

Meanwhile, the report has also revealed that ZNBC Programme Presenter and News Anchor, PATRICIA ELLIS is the favorite TV Presenter, from a list of 19 hours news presenters.

Ms. CHANDA says among the TV presenters, ZNBC staff denominated  the top 10 in the country.

She has explained that ZNBC is excited with the research findings, which re-affirms the corporations’ strong position as Zambia’s leading broadcasting media house.

Ms. CHANDA has added that ZNBC is grateful to its audience for their support, stating that the national broadcaster will continue to embrace all feedback from stakeholders.

She has since urged all commercial clients to take full advantage of the research findings by placing adverts on ZNBC Radio and Television platforms.
