ZNS to open Copper mine in NWP by 2027
Zambia National Service -ZNS- Commander MALITI SOLOCHI has disclosed that by 2027, the service is expected to open a Copper mine in North western province.
Lieutenant General SOLOCHI says this is aside from the mines in Kitwe on the Copperbelt.
He says this is one of the economic activities that the service has decided to participate in away from just providing security in the country.
General SOLOCHI said this when the chief of South African Airforce WISEMAN MBAMBO paid a courtesy call on him at his office.
And, Lieutenant General MBAMBO said he has led a delegation to Zambia to benchmark and learn new ideas from how other security wings are operating.
He praised the ZNS for their approach to contributing to the country’s development as it is a game changer.
