ZRA streamlines land transaction processes
The Zambia Revenue Authority says it has streamlined and modernized land transaction processes to mitigate any form of fraudulent transactions.
ZRA Manager Customer Experience Unit GILBERT MATIPA says this is aimed at enhancing domestic resource mobilisation for the economy.
Mr MATIPA says following the link between the Authority and Zambia Integrated Land Administration System, there will be efficiency in land transactions and property transfer tax.
He says the move is also aimed at supporting Government efforts in managing urban growth and land use.
Mr MATIPA said this during Zambia’s first ever land and property auction by Horizon Properties limited which is also celebrating its 22 Anniversary.
And, Horizon properties Chief Executive Officer SAUL KIWEMPINDI said the launch of the land and property auction is one of the innovative ways to ensure the industry remains active and provides liquidity to sellers.
Dr. KIWEMPINDI said the current property market and land market is growing at a large pace thereby exerting pressure on the limited marketing channels.
