During a recent tour of the 2025 International Trade Fair in Ndola, ZNBC Board Chairperson, Bishop Joseph Kazhila, and Director General, Berry Lwando, visited the First Quantum Minerals (FQM) pavilion.

 

This visit highlighted the importance of strategic relations with ZNBCs Corporate partners to the financial sustainability of the corporation.

Bishop Kazhila, during his visit to the FQM Pavilion underscored the significant role the mining sector plays in Zambia’s economic development. He specifically commended FQM for its dedication to empowering local communities through various initiatives. He further stressed ZNBC’s commitment to supporting and highlighting the progress made in this vital sector.

 

“This commitment isn’t just about covering news; it’s about building strong, mutually beneficial relationships. When we spotlight the achievements of companies like FQM, we reinforce their brand, demonstrate their positive impact, and in turn, secure valuable partnerships that contribute to our financial stability.” Bishop Kazhila said.

 

Director General Berry Lwando also pointed out how FQM’s support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) is directly improving the lives of ordinary Zambians, which aligns with ZNBC’s public service mandate.

 

The tour served as a reminder that ZNBCs ability to tell Zambia’s story effectively relies on the trust and collaboration of its clients.

 

And FQM’s Country Manager, Dr. Godwin Beene, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to improving the lives of Zambians.
