By Caren Mwaka
Four hundred and fifty-eight thousand companies have started actualizing investments in the country.
Zambia Development Agency Director General Albert Halwampa says this is out of 1,500 investment licenses issued between 2021 and 2024.
Mr. Halwampa says the investments are a result of good leadership skills that have created a conducive environment for growth.
Speaking on ZNBC’s Kwacha Good Morning Zambia, Mr. Halwampa said that despite the drought, the energy sector has created opportunities for investments.
He is optimistic that the energy sector will generate about 10,000 megawatts of power through such investments.
