By Musenge Mulimba
Copper Queens Assistant Coach, FLORENCE MWILA says her players are ready for the 2024 COSAFA women’s Championship being held in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
Speaking before departure for the tournament this morning MWILA told ZNBC sports that the team has prepared adequately for the tournament.
MWILA has also said despite the team having players that will be playing at the tournament for the first time she is confident that they will deliver the much needed result.
And Captain of the Cosafa bound team MARGARET BELEMU said fans should expect a good game against Angola in the opening match.
She has described the opening game as tricky as Angola would be looking at beating the Copper Queen after their last meeting ended in favor of the Copper Queens in the Olympic Qualifiers.
