Govt to sign Concession Agreement for Mokambo -Mufulira Road

Government will in the next three weeks sign a Concession Agreement for the financing and Construction of the Mokambo -Mufulira Road on the Copperbelt.

Copperbelt Minister ELISHA MATAMBO says the project will include modernization of the Mokambo Border Post among other things.

He said this when he checked on the progress of work on the Construction of a roundabout on the T-junction of Jomo road in Mufulira.

And Mufulira Mayor TANAELI KAMANGA said the current state of the Mokambo -Mufulira Road is a concern.

Mr KAMANGA has assured motorists that plans are underway by the local authority in Mufulira to do some temporary works  on the road.
