Govt gets tough on illegal Misaka Forest settlers

Government says it will not allow illegal settlers on the 2,000 hectares of land in the Misaka Forest five reserved for those displaced during the construction of the Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe Airport in Ndola.
Green Economy and Environment Minister MIKE MPOSHA says the government will not let other people to settle on the piece of land other than those displaced.
Speaking when he visited the area Mr. MPOSHA directed his officers and the ministry of lands to help sort out the issue.
And Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe displaced settlers Spokesperson BORNFACE CHISAKULA said most of the settlers are scared to take over their Government given land because of some cadres threatening to take over the land.
