Africa Aquatics Zone 4 Championships: Zambian swimmers rack 15 medals

Zambian swimmers have brought their medal tally to 15 at the ongoing Africa Aquatics Zone 4 Championships in Windhoek, Namibia, after day two of the competition.
Team captain JOHANNA COATES has claimed her second gold of the championship in the 200-meter breaststroke, adding a silver in the 50-meter breaststroke and another silver in the 50-meter butterfly, bringing her medal count to three so far.
MULENGA COLE secured another silver in the 200-meter freestyle, adding to her bronze in the 800-meter freestyle.
KIRA HAABAZOKA has impressed with a gold in the 200-meter backstroke and a bronze in the 50-meter butterfly, adding to her bronze from the 100-meter backstroke event.
MARLISE FINDLAY has gotten two bronze medals in the 200-meter backstroke and 200-meter freestyle, as well as a silver in the 100-meter backstroke on the first day of the championship.
ALEXANDRA KAPAPA and CHISI MAGUBBWI added to the medal count with bronze in the 200-meter breaststroke and 200-meter freestyle.
Additionally, the 4 by100-meter freestyle relay team earned a bronze, while Zambia’s 4 by 100-meter medley relay team also claimed a bronze at the championship.
