$21bn worth of new investments expected in Zambia by 2030-World Bank

The World Bank has projected that will be injected into Zambia with the potential of creating 800,000 jobs by 2030 in the Mining, Agriculture, Tourism and Energy sectors.
International Finance Corporation, Lead Economist ERNESTO CORDOVA says this will be achieved by implementing reforms in the sectors.
Mr CORDOVA says the private sector is the engine of the economy and its enhancement plays a pivotal role to the growth of the economy.
He was speaking at the Public, Private Dialogue Forum -PPDF- Private Sector Day in Lusaka today.
And Association of Power Companies in Zambia Chairperson, SYLVESTER HIBAJENE has called for continued dialogue with the Government, adding that this is important to achieve the needed change in the country.
Secretary to Cabinet PATRICK KANGWA, represented by Deputy Secretary to Cabinet SIAZONGO SIAKALENGE, commended the Private Sector for being a strategic partner in the development of the country.
