ZPPA suspends Pronchilu and Flashnet

The Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) has suspended Prochilu Contractors and Suppliers and Flashnet Systems Limited from participating in public procurement.
ZPPA Principal Officer Public Relations, Inutu Mushambatwa, says the two companies have been suspended for a period of one year effective from 23rd December, 2024.
In a statement issued to ZNBC News, Ms. Mushambatwa said Prochilu Contractors and Suppliers has been suspended for underperformance of contractual obligations in the construction of a one-by-three classroom block at Kaliki Primary School in Sesheke District.
Ms. Mushambatwa also said Flashnet Systems Limited has been suspended for allegedly submitting two mandatory certificates that were not genuine in a tender.
Ms. Mushambatwa said the Authority has advised all procuring entities to enforce the suspensions by ensuring that they do not award contracts or invite bids from the two companies, among others.
