
Copper Queens Coach Nora Hauptle Aims for Winning Start Against Malawi

Copper Queens Coach Nora Hauptle says she is looking to get her coaching stint with the team off to a winning start as they take on Malawi in the first of two international friendly games.
The Copper Queens will face Malawi at the Woodlands Stadium with kickoff set for 15:00 hours.
Hauptle says the team has prepared adequately for the opponent, as her aim is to give the Zambian football spectators a good show.
Speaking during a pre-match press briefing ahead of the Zambia vs. Malawi game, the Swiss national is confident in her players’ ability to deliver a resounding result.
Malawi Coach Lovemore Fazili says the team is taking the two games against the Copper Queens seriously.
Fazili says both games will be taken seriously as they are not in Zambia for window shopping, but for a tough contest which is key in preparing the team ahead of the WAFCON qualifiers.
He says the team is injury-free and they are ready for Saturday’s game.
Copper Queens Captain Barbara Banda says tomorrow’s game is critical as the team is using it to prepare for the WAFCON tournament.
Malawi Captain Tabitha Chawinga says the team wants a good result and is not taking the match casually.
