Baseball-5 Initiative Kicks Off in Chongwe District

The Zambia Baseball and Softball Association has launched Baseball-5 in Chongwe District.

Speaking at the launch, Association President Kenny Matishi highlighted the significance of introducing the sport to different regions, adding that the sport provides an opportunity for youth participation in international competitions.

Chongwe District Sports Officer, Precious Mulenga, who officially opened the program with a Baseball-5 demonstration, expressed her excitement over the initiative.

Meanwhile, Association General Secretary, Nicholas Chipeta, shared his aspirations to extend Baseball-5 to more parts of the country.
