By Wilson Mulinda
The Under 17 Copper Princesses have arrived back home after qualifying to the World Cup.
The girls secured a 6-2 aggregate win over Togo to guarantee back to back World Cup appearances.
And speaking when he received the team, Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- President ANDREW KAMANGA said the association will ensure that the team plays high quality friendlies against top teams in readiness for the World Cup.
KAMANGA said the last edition was a good experience for the team, but the target now has to be to progress beyond the group stage.
Meanwhile, FAZ Secretary General REUBEN KAMANGA said the girls continue to inspire other young girls with the continued success.
And Under 17 Girls National Team Coach CAROL KANYEMBO requested FAZ to ensure that the girls enter camp soon enough to train harder and stay fit.
