Chipolopolo drop on FIFA rankings

The Chipolopolo Boys have dropped to 92nd position in global football ranks following the team’s poor performance during the 2024 COSAFA tournament.

The latest FIFA rankings released today by the world football governing body have seen the team move from 90th position as of June 20th 2024 to 92nd position.

This means that the Chipolopolo now occupy 19th position in Africa.

Morocco has maintained first position on the continent, with Senegal retaining second place.

Zambia, the 2023 COSAFA title holders relinquished their title in the group stages of the 2024 edition as they failed to register ANY goal and also lost all their group games.
