HH to attend the official opening of FOCAC Summit

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA will tomorrow be among Heads of State and Governments who will attend the official opening of the ninth Forum on China Africa Cooperation summit.

This year’s summit  is being held under the theme ‘Joining hands to promote modernisation and build a high level China Africa Community with a  shared future’.

This evening, China’s President XI JINPING hosted a dinner for the Heads of State that are in CHINA for the summit.

The Presidents took turns to take pictures with President IX at the Great Hall of China in Beijing.

Meanwhile, President HICHILEMA has on the sidelines of the FOCAC Summit held talks with his Kenyan counterpart WILLIAM RUTO.

The two leaders discussed the challenges that the two countries are facing that have been caused by climate change.
