Shamambo gets scholarship

Zambia’s fastest Swimmer, DAMIEN SHAMAMBO has been awarded a scholarship by the World Aquatics to swim and study in France.
The scholarship is set to run for a year, and the swimmer will be trained by the best coaches in the world.
Disclosing the development to ZNBC Sport News in an interview, SHAMAMBO said the scholarship is a huge boost in his career as he will be exposed to the best facilities and coaches.
He said he wants to use his stay in France to inspire other young Zambian swimmers to work hard and remain determined.
