Bank of Zambia to Introduce New Bank Notes and Coins on Monday
The Bank of Zambia will next on Monday introduce a new family of kwacha banknotes.
The banknotes, which feature selected heritage sites, will include the newly introduced 500 and 200 Kwacha notes.
And, the National Heritage Conservation Commission says it is happy that the Central Bank has placed heritage features as part of marketing Zambia’s tourism.
Commission Acting Executive Director, KAGOSI MWAMULOWE says features, such as the Victoria Falls, are a firm reminder that Zambia is endowed with one of the 7 wonders of the world.
Mr MWAMULOWE has been speaking to ZNBC news in an interview.
