BARBRA BANDA leads Orlando Pride to glory

Copper Queens Captain BARBRA BANDA has guided Orlando Pride to their first-ever National Women’s Soccer League -NWSL- Championship title.
The Zambian striker’s performance this season resulted in a decisive contribution as Pride claimed the coveted trophy, marking a historic milestone for the club.
BANDA scored the decisive goal in the 37th minute to secure a 1-0 victory over Washington Spirit in the final played at CPKC Stadium.
The Florida-based team capped off an exceptional season by securing the championship title, adding it to their 2024 NWSL Shield victory.
The Zambian International, who joined Pride earlier this season, has been a revelation, scoring 17 goals and providing seven assists in 25 appearances.
BANDA credited the award to Orlando Pride after being crowned the 2024 NWSL Championship Most Valuable Player award.
